Your friends and family are welcome to come and see you along the route, but they will not be permitted into the pit stops as these areas are for participants only. 

If you are meeting your friends and family along the route please bear in mind that car parks and small villages along the route can become congested and it may not be possible to park safely in some locations. If parking is not available, your friends and family should head to an alternate location.
