Race to the King: Newhouse Farm Wild Camping
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are no longer able to offer public camping at the West Dean site. Therefore, we have made alternative arrangements at the Newhouse Farm Wild Camping site. Newhouse Farm is a beautiful wild camping site and international dark skies reserve, just a short 9-minute drive from West Dean.
The following facilities will still be available to you:
- Tents will be pitched, numbered and ready for you upon arrival.
- Parking will be available at the campsite.
- A Race to the King crew member will be present to check you in.
- If you’re camping on Friday night, you’ll be able to collect your registration pack at the campsite.
Showers are not provided at the Newhouse Farm Wild Camping site, although you are still permitted to use the showers at the Race to the King Basecamp at West Dean.
We understand that this new location may not be suitable for everyone. Therefore, if you wish to receive a refund for your camping add-on, please email info@racetotheking.com to let us know and we will process this.
